A week after his victory at Mauritius Hank McGregor won the title of World Champion on the Ocean of the Surfski Open Union

McGregor won the men's title at the Citadel twelve-kilometer race at Vetch's Beach last week. , opening his account to the popular four-race winter series

Durban being shaken by a cold, icy front, the race was shifted from Vetch's Beach to a bend off the Umgeni River and instead of the standard course that takes paddlers off the Bluff

Paddler Fenn Kayaks / Euro Steel superbly mastered the wind conditions and dominated the house more than a minute from Gene Prato, Luke Nisbet and Tyron Maher for claim his first win in the series Sunday morning

The next race, the Geriatskis Race, the third race of the Bay Series Open Ocean Surfski will be held at Vetch's Beach on Sunday, July 22nd.
