The second annual Pan-African Festival of Oregon (PAF) will take place on Saturday, August 11th at Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland from 12:00 pm. – 20:30 PAF is a celebration of the resilience, strength and influence of African Pan (Africans, Caribbean and African-Americans) in Oregon.
The festival is a cultural vehicle to galvanize, mobilize and empower Africans in the Diaspora in Oregon. It is a stepping stone for building community, increasing understanding within and between communities, and creating a dialogue that will bring awareness and sensitivity. This vision is captured in the PAF 2018 theme: Experience of Culture
