King Goodwill Zwelithini took a feud in front of the ANC-led government saying that the expropriation of lands administered by the Ingonyama Trust Act equates to "spitting on our ancestors."
Zwelithini was talking to a special imbizo that he had called for in Ulundi on Wednesday, to discuss the way forward if the government expropriated lands administered by the Ingonyama Trust in the province.
According to its website, the mandate of the trust is to hold land for the well-being of tribal members and communities "living on the land."
The land is divided according to the clans under the leadership of the traditional chiefs who, in terms of customary law, are accountable to the king, who is the trustee of the trust only. The trust administers 2.8 million hectares of land on behalf of the trustee.
On Wednesday, Mr. Zwelithini took the opportunity to rule again against the recommendation to dissolve the trust.
"They want to remove us land"
It was after a high-level group, led by former president Kgalema Motlanthe, had recommended that the Ingonyama Trust Act be repealed or amended and that the trust itself be dissolved
"The Ingonyana Trust I ask them to continue to fight each other, God must fight with those who are beat against me, "he said. "I can defeat the enemy who wants to take my land by the power of God," he said.

He suggested that the question of the land administered by the trust was a "war "infiltration" that their ancestors had also known during the colonial era.
"She is now facing us. He said that the expropriation of "his" land was like "spitting on our ancestors".
He warned the traditional leaders, the Zulu warriors and the community that had come to the imbizo. be wary of political parties that only liked them for their votes.
"For me, you are not IFP, ANC, DA and EFF, but you are Zulu. The land has not been taken away as political parties but as Zulus, "he said.
" Show them who your ancestors are "
The king also accuses those who want land "to be hypocritical."
"They laugh with us in front of the world but when they meet, they plan to stab us. Wake up and show your anger on your land. Show them who your ancestors are. They want to steal your land in broad daylight, "he said.
He asked politicians not to forget that he respected them because of their positions and political parties.
said that there was nothing more painful. "thieves stealing money under the pretext of helping the community through government projects."
He also voiced his dissatisfaction with the frequent convening of the Ingonyana Trust Board to answer questions from Parliament.

He asked the Portfolio Committee on Agrarian Reform to "keep his name" when they call trust to report to Parliament.
He said it was July 4, 1879, the date of the last battle that took place in Ulundi.
