Six suspects were also arrested during a parallel operation that occurred at an alcohol store in Hammanskraal on Monday, July 2nd. During the arrests, eight types of firearms and ammunition were seized.

Eight other suspects were arrested in the Dobsonville robbery attempt on Wednesday, July 4, 2017. Four vehicles were confiscated during the arrests. Ranger, Volvo, Peagout and a Kia Picanto. In Kliptown, Soweto, three suspects were arrested for possession of unauthorized firearms. Two firearms and ammunition, as well as a Mini Cooper, were seized.
