Apex Legends: Respawn Shares New Details on Future Updates and Teasing Season 1: livestream | Dexerto.com

[ad_1]

Respawn Entertainment has released a detailed update focused on answers to a variety of Apex Legends community questions and detailing what fans can expect from future updates.

Apex Legends has not even been out for two weeks, and is already taking steps with impressive ease while recording more than 25 million players.

After a long update published in the Apex Legends subreddit, Respawn has clearly announced that they would aim to reach new heights outside the game by addressing some important community discussion points over the course of two years. last weeks. .

Crashes and bug reports

Respawn launched the update by informing fans that they were "taking seriously" information about a crash on all platforms and that they would look to improve things in the near future.

Players can expect a new patch next week (no date has been specified) that will aim to improve stability, performance and other qualities of life.

In addition, Respawn detailed the bug reporting process to dispel many fears about hearing loss.

The cheaters

With more than 25 million registered players, it is not surprising that many cheaters were spotted in the first two weeks of the release.

To this day, Respawn confirms that over 16,000 players have been identified and banned from the game. All players who encounter cheats are encouraged to use this tool to report them immediately.

Even if you have no proof, simply scoring the ID will allow Respawn to investigate the account and ensure that cheats are handled as quickly as possible.

Communication in progress

Perhaps most important of all, Respawn has presented what will be a large and regular update schedule for the next few weeks.

Messages on the Apex Legends sub-forum will be posted daily and, while not all of them contain important information, the open line of communication will certainly be welcomed by the community.

The next livestreams dedicated to the new content were also teased, the first being confirmed as centered on the upcoming launch of season 1 in March.

Many things to talk about!

Crashes

We know that it has been frustrating for many of you on all platforms. We hear you and we take this issue seriously. Improving stability, performance and quality of life is a top priority for us and we have a lot of work to do. We released our first patch earlier this week and we have many more to come. [including one next week!]. We will always provide patch notes when they are released. No, I can not tell you what it contains at the moment.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I REPORT SOMETHING?

We are always listening and looking for reported problems. As you can imagine, when you drop your game out of nowhere and 25 million people show up the first week, many problems, bugs, exploits, etc. are discovered. Our customer service team provides daily reports and many members of the development team research and email links to reported issues on social and reddit channels. We also have radar tools that capture all kinds of game data, measure feelings, and provide insights into what's most talked about about Apex Legends.

When problems are reported, they are organized by our wonderful quality assurance team that attempts to duplicate them based on the information they have. If they are able to reproduce it, a ticket is created and they are added to the rest of the known issues, prioritized, planned, and assigned to the appropriate developers to resolve it. How do we prioritize? We use data to inform us of the number of people affected, the possible degradation of the exploit, the resources needed to solve it, etc.

Help us help you

If we can not reproduce the problem locally, it is almost impossible to solve it. This is why it is extremely important that when you report a problem you are experiencing, you are providing as much information as possible. If you just posted: "My game keeps crashing. Corrects it. We can not do anything to help you, and we really want to help you!

So, help us help you. The best place to report bugs is to use the link below and follow certain steps:

  • What platform do you play on?
  • Original identity / Gamertag / PSN
  • What were you doing upstream of the problem?
  • Can you reproduce it? What are the steps?
  • PC Drives: Provides hardware specifications, operating system version, and GPU driver version.
  • If possible, it's great if you can capture a screenshot / image or video.
  • Pay attention to dev updates.

CHEATERS

To date, more than 16,000 cheaters have been identified and banned from the game. Cheaters fear. If you encounter one, try to capture the evidence and let us know it here: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/apexlegends/contact/report/

Even if you do not get proof, get their ID number and report it so we can review the account. We've heard your comments on a report feature in the game. I'll just say it's a very good idea 🙂

OUR CONVERSATION CONTINUES

Your trust is really important to us. Seriously. We said at the launch that we will always strive to be direct, honest and as transparent as possible with you all. Here's how we'll start doing this:

  • We will start making more regular updates like this one. I will do publications every day from Tuesday next week. These are not all innovative publications or major news, but consider this as our way of checking every day what we can.
  • Livestreams! As we speak, a production team is creating a radical soundscape here in Respawn. I can not wait to start it and start doing shows with the team. We will launch our first stream of developers around the launch of Season 1.
  • With the permission of everyone and the mod team, I would like to have a dedicated site here where I can provide a list of troubleshooting tips for some of the issues people are facing.
  • Add some elements to the work we will be talking about in the near future.

I would like to be able to answer any of you, but it is physically impossible. For the context: I currently have nearly 6,000 responses and more than 50 messages in my inbox, this is just this subreddit. Trust me when I say it myself, and many team members here read your messages and it's the best feeling to see our baby in the wild and lead a life through it.

Enjoy the weekend, be nice to each other and have fun! Next update Tuesday.
