It was a stable performance of the entire Frontier golf lineup on Monday against Hampshire.

Each Redhawk fired in the 1940s – all six finishing four shots of each other – as the Redhawks took a 16-8 victory over the Raiders at Cherry Hill.

Alex Gochinski shot a 45 for Frontier while Ryat Cetto and Kevin Baumann each shot 46. Cam Skiffington got a 47 and Shane Prusak and Cade Allenby got a 49 in the win.

Levi Zielinski was the medalist of the match with a 41 for Hampshire.

Golf

Mohawk Trail 17.5, Center 6.5 – Logan Moore (46), Douglas Wilcox (55), Grady Patenaude (63) and Liam Green (57) each scored four points as the Warriors took a 17.5-16.5 victory over the Golden Hawks at the Veterans Springfield Golf Course Monday.

Oliver Johnson (54) and Gage Patenaude (59) completed Warrior training.

Field hockey

Border 7, Northampton 1 – Rebecca Wallace-West kicked off the Blue Devil’s defense, scoring a hat trick as the Redhawks claimed a 7-1 victory Monday at South Deerfield.

Briana Storozuk found the back of the cage twice while Lila Roche and Emily DeMaio also scored goals in the victory. Maeve Eight, DeMaio and Ashley Taylor got assists for Frontier.

Zoey Ames scored Northampton’s lone goal while Mavis Rudof made eight saves for the Blue Devils.

Athol 3, Mahar 1 – Laura McGinnis gave the Senators a 1-0 lead early in the first quarter, but it was all Athol from that point on, with the Bears claiming a 3-1 victory on Monday.

That was all Abby Kirwin for Athol on the offensive. Kirwin tied 1-1 in the first quarter with an assist from Christa Cucchi and put the Bears ahead in the second quarter with an assist from Sadey Lehtomaki.

Kirward scored his third in the third quarter to give him a hat trick, Lehtomaki collecting the assist.

Sam Kenniff made five saves in the win while Isabella Bisceglia made nine saves in Mahar’s loss.

South Hadley 2, Greenfield 0 – The Tigers did their damage in the first half, scoring two goals that ultimately led to a 2-0 win over the visiting Green Wave on Monday.

Isabella Alcaraz scored an assist from Meg Carey in the first quarter and Carey scored a flat from Jenna Hobart in the second quarter for South Hadley.

Kaitlyn Lynes made six saves in the win while Ainslee Flynn stopped three shots for Greenfield.

Boys football

Franklin Tech 7, item 1 – It took just 32 minutes for David Klempner to record a hat trick, paving the way for a 7-1 win for the Eagles on Monday at Turners.

Klepner opened the scoring in the fourth minute, followed by a goal from Colin Adams. Klepner then hit two more times to give Franklin Tech the advantage, 4-1 in the half.

Sam Lashtur scored twice in the second half before Robert Belval closed the scoring for the Eagles. Belval finished with three assists while Jack Gancarz and Grayson Rollins also had assists in the victory. Nik Martin and Klempner split goal time for Franklin Tech.

Hampden Charter 7, Mohawk Trail 3 – Porter Carr scored twice, but it wasn’t enough as the Wolves walked away with a 7-3 win over the Warriors in Chicopee on Monday.

Brett Summers had a goal and an assist and Jeff Buck provided an assist for Mohawk Trail. Logan Brothers made three saves and Connor Herzig stopped two shots in the loss.

Volleyball

Wahconah 3, Athol 0 – The pass killed the Bears on the road Monday, falling to the Warriors 25-8, 25-7, 25-14 in a Northern League game.

Alma White had four assists, three assists and an ace in loss. Kennedy Vaillancourt had three wins and Laney Florentino added a win for Athol.
