Bengals’ Mixon set to play against the Packers

Cincinnati Bengals running backJoe mixon, who hasn’t trained this week but trained on Saturday, is scheduled to play on Sunday, NFL Network Insider source Ian Rapoport told NFL Network Insider.

Mixon has suffered a sprained ankle and won’t be 100 percent, but the Oklahoma product is set to face the Green Bay Packers.

In four games this season, the former second-round pick is averaging 88.3 rushing yards per game and has two touchdowns.

In a one-loss team battle, the Bengals (3-1) host Aaron Rodgers and the Packers (3-1) at 1 p.m. ET at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.
