Danielle Bregoli, the 18-year-old viral star-turned-rapper who goes through Bhad Bhabie, brought up allegations of physical and mental abuse at a teenage residential facility where she was sent after appearing on Dr Phil in 2016. In an eight-minute video posted to his YouTube channel on Friday under the hashtag #BreakingCodeSilence, Bregoli shared his support for Hannah Archuleta, a former teenage resident of Turn-About Ranch in Escalante, Utah, who is now suing the facility for negligence after alleged sexual assault by a staff member in 2019. Archuleta, like Bregoli, was sent to the Turn-About Ranch after appearing on Dr Phil. Bregoli begins the video by begging Dr. Phil to apologize, “Not just to me, but to Hannah and any other kid you’ve sent to Turn-About or any program like this.” Dr Phil sent Archuleta to the Turn-About Ranch after being the site of a high-profile murder in 2017, while Bregoli was there, which she said was “traumatic” for the young residents.

In the video, Bregoli testifies to how she was sent to the ranch by carriers “coming in in the middle of the night. They don’t tell them where they are going. They take them, handcuff them, put them in the car. It’s basically like a kidnapping. Bregoli says that at the ranch, “they take away the privileges of necessity, like sleeping on a bed, eating good food, not being cold.” Bregoli says she has seen children being forcibly restrained, “which is illegal you are not supposed to touch children,” and that “if you report that another child has been bullied by their peers or something, they’d just say, ‘well that might be what they need,’ or something like that. The punishments included being subjected to cold and bonded labor. “You don’t even feed them or let them sleep in decent conditions. Do things that no one would ever want to do to their child, and the do to children who are so helpless, “says Bregoli.” That’s the thing about these places. You have no proof. You don’t have a phone there. There is no cameras there. There is no evidence.

Bregoli’s stories echo Paris Hilton’s own experiences at a residential facility for teenagers, as her 2020 documentary explains It’s Paris. In fact, Archuleta’s lawyer Gloria Allred said the Hilton documentary was what inspired Archuleta to speak up. The Turn-About Ranch website has a blog post from 2010 titled “Turn-About Ranch Featured on Dr Phil,Bragging about his relationship with the show’s host. After the Bregoli video uploaded, Dr Phil neglected to respond, stopping by on Friday night instead. tweet about Drag race.
