This is not Bill Belichick's first rodeo.
He made it clear Monday when he addressed the signature of Antonio Brown. The New England Patriots signed Brown last Saturday after his release from the Oakland Raiders.
Brown's short, boisterous stint with the Raiders was not enough to chase the Patriots. Brown asked for his release after being fined, which canceled $ 29 million in guaranteed money that he would have received in Oakland. It seems that it was the straw that broke the camel's back for Brown, at least.

Belichick was asked why he was confident that Brown would not cause as much trouble in the Patriots locker room as he was with the Pittsburgh Raiders or Steelers.
"I was not in any of those places and so I can not really say what happened or not," Belichick said bluntly, according to NBC Sports Boston.
When Belichick was again pressured by Brown's behavior, the six-time Super Bowl head coach called the team's acquisition of Randy Moss.

Comparisons between Brown and Moss were made.
The Minnesota Vikings traded Moss to the Oakland Raiders in March 2005. He openly expressed his dissatisfaction with Oakland during his two seasons there. He was then traded to the Patriots before the 2007 season. Moss captured 23 touchdown passes at the top of his career and the Patriots scored 16-0 in the regular season before bowing to the New York Giants in the playoffs playoffs.
Randy Moss played with the Patriots for more than two seasons.

Unlike Moss, Brown has never played for the Raiders before being released.
