After a difficult start, Russell Wilson was hot in the fourth quarter, Bobby Wagner and the Seattle defense blocked Aaron Rodgers and the Seahawks remained in the middle of the NFC playoff race.

Wilson threw for 225 yards and his 15-yard touchdown pbad to Ed Dickson with 5:08 to go was the difference in the Seahawks' 27-27 win over the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
In a decisive duel in the battle for two NFC generic card slots, Seattle (5-5) ended a two-game losing streak by overcoming a 14-3 deficit. Wilson was often inconsistent early in the game, but was outstanding in the fourth quarter. He managed to block the winning disc by recognizing a blitz and hitting Dickson quickly for his second TD pbad of the night.
"I thought this whole race was exceptional. (…) Third, we have to win in the red zone and we were pretty stuck in the red zone at the end of the game," said Wilson.
Seattle has not lost three straight games since the middle of the 2011 season and the Seahawks have finally earned a one-point win after consecutive defeats at the Chargers and Rams. Seattle was 1-8 in nine previous matches.
Rodgers had a huge first half and had 332 yards, but the Packers (4-5-1) scored only one goal in the second half, helped by a 57-yard Rodgers strike against Davante Adams. Rodgers threw two touchdown pbades in the first half, but never recovered the ball after Green Bay overturned at 4:20. Seattle and Wilson got the first runs to finish the match on their knees three times.
"It was really a consideration, but with time and a two-minute stop, we played the numbers," said Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy.

This proved to be enough. On the next Green Bay record, Rodgers made a pbad in the third and second.
"The ball just sticked to my hand and went into the ground," Rodgers said. "Obviously frustrating, I can do it a hundred times and probably not do it again.
Rather than attacking the fourth run, Green Bay lobbied and never recovered the ball.
"I trust this team, so I will be an aggressive caller and I will go and say we will get it, but at the same time, you have to be realistic and I agree with the coaches who are calling 100% back to the defense, "Adams said. "It was difficult, they have a great racing game, they made a game and that's how things went."
