NEW YORK – Mets second baseman Robinson Cano was placed on MRI after being forced to carry his left quadriceps to first base on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals.
Cano, 36, struggled to sneak to first base after hitting a helicopter on second base pickup from Nationals' Max Scherzer in the third set, but stopped three-quarters of the way. line.
