Carmelo Anthony thinks the team culture will be ‘fun’

Even though the whole team has yet to speak, fans can already tell that this Los Angeles Lakers team is going to be exciting.

All the players said they were willing to sacrifice themselves to win, and that kind of mentality should take them far. LeBron James himself looks terribly excited for the 2021-22 season and no one can blame him since the list looks like a competitor.

When it comes to team chemistry, they already seem ahead of schedule, especially after the set-up of the Las Vegas minicamp that James hosted. Everyone has been all smiles and laughs so far, which has pointed out to people like Carmelo Anthony that the team culture is going in the right direction.

“It will be fun,” said Anthony. “It will be fun because I think we all know from a basketball point of view what we can do here and what the goal is. I think in the middle of working towards this goal, you have to take advantage of it. You have to have fun, you have to laugh and be a little loose when it comes to this job. Because if you don’t, it becomes work. It’s a job, but you want to have fun coming to work every day. You don’t want to regret coming to work because then it becomes something different.

“We leave all other things outside of this building, outside of the courthouse. And when we come here and when we travel and we go out and eat and chat in hotels and on airplanes, we are going to enjoy every moment because we don’t often have times like this where you have a bunch of guys of that stature on a team who all love each other. It is very difficult to find.

Last season was not a lot of fun for the Lakers considering all the obstacles they faced, but those issues no longer persist and the New Year gives the team a chance to get out there and do something about it. Special. With fans back in the stands and a roster full of players looking to compete and prove themselves, the Purple and Gold are well positioned to win plenty of games and have fun doing it.

Carmelo Anthony doesn’t know when he will retire

Like James, Anthony is entering the 19th year of his illustrious career and it looks like he may extend his career longer as he has adopted the role of role player. As for how long he will continue to play, that remains to be seen as attacker doesn’t know when he’ll hang up his sneakers for good.
