Dr Jonathan Reiner, professor of medicine and surgery at George Washington University and CNN medical analyst, said people who are not fully vaccinated should not go to restaurants or bars.

Reiner told CNN’s Fredricka Whitfield: “What I would say bluntly is, if you’re not vaccinated right now in the United States, you shouldn’t go to a bar, you probably shouldn’t. eating in a restaurant. You are at great risk of becoming infected. ”
Reiner added that the only way to stem the tide of growing infections in the United States, which appears to be driven by the highly contagious Delta variant, is for the rest of Americans to get vaccinated.
He explained that if these people refuse injections, the only other options are to shut down businesses again or start universal masking for Americans – even those who are fully vaccinated.
“The only way to mask the unvaccinated is to mask everyone,” he added.

“I think it’s time to start taxing vaccines,” he told the “Outfront” host. “And I think private industry and private organizations will.”
Reiner continued, “Seventy-five million adults have chosen not to be vaccinated and that choice has consequences. Now we can’t force you to take a hit in the arm, but there might be a lot of jobs that can keep you from working if you decide not to get the shot.
