Country singer Clare Dunn assaulted by Lyft Driver in Nashville

Country singer Claire Dunn is terrified that her alleged attacker – a Lyft driver in Nashville – is abusing another woman, because almost 2 months after being beaten by the side of the road… he’s still free.

Clare says she was out in Nashville with some friends on June 25, and around midnight she asked Lyft to come over to her house with one of her friends. The driver dropped the friend off first, then began a 10 mile drive to Clare’s house – but she knew something was wrong when he refused to take the route she had asked.

The singer – who lives in Colorado, but was in Music City working on an album – says the driver rushed down a freeway before finally pulling over about a mile from her stop and exiting. the backseat by its collar and slam the ground.

Clare says she was face down in a ditch as she desperately tried to dial 911 on her phone, but couldn’t because he was assaulting her. She was cold for a while, and when she came to herself she started screaming … and the driver ran away at that point.

Clare went to the emergency room for treatment and filed a police report. She identified the driver to a detective, and while there is an arrest warrant for the suspect … the cops still haven’t found him.

She said People, “He’s on the street – is he doing this to someone else? Does he have a wife he’s mistreating? Does he have a girlfriend he’s mistreating like that?” ? Because he obviously has no respect at the moment. “
