Is it just me, or is the COVID vaccine message more than a little off the wall? Here’s NBC medical analyst Dr Vin Gupta either contradicting himself or moving the goalposts again or just saying the vaccine can’t be trusted just yet, but it does. still point out the virtue to us, the unwashed commoners.

Can you take the vaccine but still be infected? I do not understand. Either way, these are bad posts that will confuse people.
While the vaccine was just a dream, a longing, the media downplayed even the possibility that we would see it before the year of Hell 2020 is over. NBC has led the demoralization campaign. Because that’s why NBC exists. Well, that and push Russian conspiracy theories.
Behold, the “miracle” has happened, even at the Texas border. At any other time, Operation Warp Speed and its leader would be hailed as heroic.
Frontline health workers take up arms. Hundreds of thousands of doses are in trucks heading for Lone Star State.
Dell School of Medicine is one of four facilities in the state to receive the first shipment of vaccine. Exactly 19 other facilities are expected to receive shipments on Tuesday. And by the end of the week, more than 220,000 doses of Pfizer are expected to be in 110 hospitals in 34 counties in Texas.
The end of the week is tomorrow or Saturday. Many Texans will hit the needle in hopes of getting back to normal.
But not so fast! Not according to Vin Gupta, MD According to him, we don’t know if the vaccine does anything other than keep you from getting really sick:
“Just for your viewers, I know one of the officials we just saw getting vaccinated is planning to travel after the second dose. It is a source of confusion. This is one of the misconceptions out there. Just because you get your second shot doesn’t mean you should participate in activities like traveling in the midst of an out of control pandemic or being freed from wearing masks.
“Everything stays valid until we all have the two-dose regimen, and we don’t think that will happen until June or July. And, again, that brings us back to what we just talked about, Chuck. We don’t know if just getting the vaccine prevents serious illness or does it also prevent you from getting an infection altogether? This means that you can still potentially be infected with the virus and pass it on to others. So really, really critical – don’t let your guard down just because you’ve been vaccinated. You may still be able to get infected with the virus and pass it on to other people, so keep that in mind. “
So, what is it for? Ok, that can keep you out of the hospital. What about resuming a pre-COVID life? This is what we all really want. The disease is temporary. The loss of freedom is forever, until now.
Follow me here for just a second.
We know the virus is contagious, but we also know that for the vast majority of people it is not fatal. It’s bad. Horrible. Not good. But for most people who don’t have an average of 2.6 other comorbidities, the new coronavirus is very unlikely to kill you.
Exception: When your state or county decides that kinetic lead poisoning = COVID death. It really needs to be stopped now and these deaths need to be removed from the COVID totals. We don’t know the actual COVID death toll from accounts like this, which have been going on since April or so, eroding trust in the entire containment business. They say we are approaching 300,000 COVID deaths, but are we? Really? When gunshot deaths and the like keep creeping into the totals?
In fact, our so-called health experts have eroded confidence for months, going from a plateau to a Grand Canyon of suspicion, starting with “two weeks to flatten the curve” stretching out in this endless twilight of the world. state police and until their approval the riots as they ordered our churches and businesses shut their doors, leaving millions of Americans threatened with deportation very soon. Restaurants are not the main distributors of COVID? Close them anyway! Democrats think we all have Nancy Pelosi’s freezer full of gourmet ice cream at home, when the reality is, most Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Any financial disruption is a personal disaster for them.
The experts’ recommendations, which should have been based on science, and they said so, at least seemed rather political. Such as: Restaurants and other small businesses are closed, but Tom Cruise can shoot movies and yell at his helpless production staff if they stand an inch too close to each other. Why does Tom Cruise go to work and you don’t? He is rich, you are not. He’s got California Democrats in his pocket, and you don’t. So shut up, peasant.
Another exception: if you are in a nursing home in New York under the supervision of Governor Cuomo. This guy has it for old people. Thousands of people have died after filling nursing homes with COVID patients, and he hushed up an investigation, wrote a book touting his super genius, accepted an award for chatting at his one- press conferences. man-show and sprained his arm while patting himself. back for his heinous acts.

Back to the virus and the vaccine. We know that for the vast majority, on a sliding scale descending with age, the virus is very unlikely to be fatal or even require hospitalization. The kids don’t even seem to understand it or broadcast it at all. But teachers’ unions want schools closed, and where they rule, by God, schools are closed. And you are racist if you ask them about it. This, again, goes directly to Democrats and who owns them more a media / Big Tech that is explicitly on the Democrats’ side in all things. Not to science. A generation is deprived of its childhood thanks to all of this.
If you catch the virus you will get sick and feel really bad, but the virus is not likely to kill you. The survival rate is always over 99% and the younger you are, the less likely it is to be fatal. There have been exceptions, but exceptions are not the rule.
So what is the point of all the misery and uncertainty the authorities have put us through? What is the point of 2020?
Florida and California have taken very different paths to deal with COVID. Gov. Newsom belongs to the school of ‘draconian rules for you but not for me’, blocking everything except Democrat-friendly Hollywood film productions as he runs off to dinner with lobbyists at a restaurant you can’t afford without sell a kidney. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has kept his state wide open for months. Florida has an older population; California is bigger. Both are hot weather states. The media pilloried DeSantis, of course.
States’ COVID experiences are very similar to each other, but because Florida is open, it has about half the unemployment rate of California. In the long run, Florida will have fewer evictions of the millions heading for a tired nation. It will have an economy capable of supporting its medical community and its government. California bleeds jobs by the thousands as Calexit steps up. Newsom may face a recall, which would be hilarious.
Yeah, I know those Californians who put their own economic disaster in the rear view mirror are all coming to Texas. We need a welcome wall or cart.
Regarding the vaccine, Dr Gupta says we should take it with pleasure, but that will not allow you to resume a normal life, you are going to get a lot of it from ordinary people in response. This is what a confusing message steeped in rank politics leads to.

Unlike Joe Biden and the pre-election Kamala Harris, I’m pro-vax here and always have been. But if our master physicians can’t explain why we should go ahead and get stabbed, and how it benefits us, more people will decide not to.
We are certainly suffering from a pandemic of inconsistent experts and media reports. When they don’t downplay the possibility of having a vaccine, they refuse to report on historic Middle East peace accords, covering the monstrous national security commitments named Hunter Biden and Eric Swalwell (which amounts to electoral tampering), and they only confuse the life of a traumatized nation.
You have to see this NBC Hunter Biden subtitle to believe it. It’s real and it’s really horrible.
