Seattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon tore New York Yankees pitcher JA Happ after leaving the game early before Thursday night's loss.
Gordon was hit on the wrist by Happ's ball in the third inning and sank into pain. The field player tried to get out of it, but had to be replaced at second base by rookie Dylan Moore. After the match, Gordon expressed his dissatisfaction with the high and tight pitch of Happ.

"In fact, I was more excited," Gordon told the press after the match, according to MLB.com. "It was the second time that he was vomiting by the head. You must get this ball. If you can not start this field, do not start it. I have a family. So you have to get the ball. It was twice.
Gordon's comments were not made public when the Yankees clubhouse was open, according to ESPN. Happ admitted that he had a little more intensity in his debut after a bad exit.

Gordon should receive an MRI wrist on Friday. He hit .304 with a .742 OPS and has three career circuits in the year.
