DeRozan deported for firing ball at Referee Foster

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Spurs star DeMar DeRozan was sent off with 5 minutes and 1 second in the fourth quarter on Saturday against Denver Nuggets for throwing the ball near the official Scott Foster.

With the Spurs down 110-92, DeRozan drove to the hoop and was called for an accusation on the Nuggets' guard, Gary Harris. DeRozan then shot the ball high towards Foster, which was about 10 meters from the right-hand line.

Official Rodney Mott evaluated two technical fouls for DeRozan and kicked them out of the match.

When asked to explain what had led to his deportation, DeRozan said, "Frustration, I thought it was a bad call.A combination of both."

Denver won the match 4 117-103, the night of the first leg against the playoffs of the first round at 2-2.

DeRozan finished with 19 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
