Dorian should head northeast after hitting Florida

Hurricane Dorian is not expected to have a major impact on North Carolina during the Labor Day weekend. However, National Weather Service forecasters claim that Dorian will likely head northeast after landing as a major hurricane somewhere in Florida next week. Some coastal floods and a moderate risk of return currents are already expected this weekend as the storm approaches the United States.
