Law enforcement officials in New Jersey are looking for a dancing thief who stole a donut in a Dunkin location during the weekend while airing the crime live with his mobile phone.

The "Donut Desperado" hit around 8:30 pm Saturday, just days before National Donor Day, police in southern Brunswick announced. Officials shared surveillance video from the incident on Twitter.

The hooded man jumped on a counter and seemed to start dancing while holding his phone. He then went down the counter, danced up to the donut counter and grabbed a patisserie – recording a huge bite – while an employee looked on in disbelief.

The man then went to the door, passing clueless customers sitting at a table, and continued to film the pastry caper on the phone.

The man was suspected in another similar donut, police said. The officials asked the public for help in identifying him.

The chain of coffee restaurants and donuts removed the word "Donuts" from its name in January and renamed "Dunkin". The chain is to celebrate National Donut Day on June 7th.
