The outing comes after Emilia appeared on Emilia while remotely appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the origin of the new comic released Wednesday by Image Comics.

She said: “It was just a silly idea. It was a silly conversation that happened in a car while we were going to a concert with friends.

“And we were like, ‘Yeah, wouldn’t it be funny if there was a superhero who wasn’t perfect and who was just a big mess like us?

“And I was like, ‘That would be really funny. “And was anxious. That would be really funny. And then I went home and just wrote that.

“So I wrote about 50 pages of this and that kind of character just came out of me. And I did all the other characters and just a lot of – there was a lot of material that was ready to go out and now it’s here. And it’s a real thing, ”she said.

Jimmy told her the comic was “well done” and asked if it could be adapted into a movie or a TV show.

‘Well, ok. So here’s how I feel about it. That’s not why I started, that’s not why I made a comic strip. I made a comic because I’m crazy and therefore I did this. And if it’s really shit and nobody wants it, then it won’t be a movie, ”Emilia replied.
