Every year, the Christmas bonus helps the most modest people. This premium created in 1998 is paid
to more than 2.5 million French people.
A few days before the end of the year, she is often welcome. The Christmas bonus, paid by the Family Allowances Fund or employment center, is expected this year again to be paid to the most disadvantaged.
An amount that varies
The French concerned by this payment are the beneficiaries of the active solidarity income (RSA), the lump sum bonus for resumption of activity, the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) or the retirement equivalent allowance (AER). The amount of the premium varies according to the composition of the household and the number of dependent children. In 2017, it amounted to 152.45 euros for a single person and 442.10 euros for a couple with four children.
Its renewal has not yet been officially announced by the State. The date of payment remains unknown but it comes every year a few days before December 25.
