Champions League – Round 5
For this fifth day of the Champions League, Tottenham made the nice shot of the evening by beating Inter, while Porto, Schalke and Barca have qualified.
Dortmund may lose big
After the success of theAtlético against Monaco, the Borussia Dortmund Lucien Favre imperatively needed to stay ahead of his group. Missed. Marco's teammates Reus were lacking in realism. Pulisic at the 10th and Reus in the 32nd they harvested two enormous opportunities, which should have made the domination of the Germans a reality. For the Belgians, the successful recital in Monaco was a long way off, as the level difference was important. With only 30% possession and especially no shots on target, Bruges was clearly not in a good night. No consequence for them however since the defeat of Monaco had offered them the qualification in the Europa League before the kick-off. For Dortmund, this draw allows theAtlético to take alone the head of group A.
Barça first in his group
His qualification already in his pocket, FC Barcelona still had to secure the place of first of his group. Mission accomplished. Despite several absentees, including a last minute, Samuel Umtiti (again touched on the knee), the Barca got out of the Dutch trap. In the first half, the PSV hit the amounts three times (16th, 44th, 44th), while Vidal Catalan side saw two of his shots saved on his line. After the break, we needed a new exploit from Lionel Messi To get the situation moving, to unblock the situation (61e). Ten minutes later, Piqué drove the Dutch by taking a free kick repulsed the fivefold Ballon d'Or. Having nothing to lose, the PSV was throwing himself headlong to try to return to the score and to Jong it reached the 83rd. As a result of the ranking, the PSV is removed of all European Cups.

Eriksen relaunch Tottenham
Inter Milan had come to England for a draw, and the teammates of Mauro Icardi have been all relatives to achieve this. 80 minutes, here is the time it took Tottenham to keep a hope of qualifying. The hero of the evening is called Eriksen. The Dane took advantage of an excellent job from Moussa Sissoko on the right aisle that perfectly put the ball back to Alli. Cleverly, the English international put on his left at Eriksen which perfectly adjusted the doorkeeper Inter. The Italians could have condemn all the hopes of the English few minutes before, but a nice parade of Lloris had saved the English house. With this victory, the race for the eighth is revived since Inter and Tottenham have both seven points.
It's over, Tottenham's 1-0 win against Inter thanks to a goal from Christian Eriksen! The qualification is not acquired, it will be as good as Inter in the last match. But we can still believe it! #COYS pic.twitter.com/VRCHSR8SPz

Porto qualified and first
In group D, Porto and Schalke have taken advantage of the setback of Galatasaray facing Lokomotiv in the early evening to get their qualification. In this match for the win of the first place, Schalke seemed to hold, especially in the first half. But in the second half, the Germans collapsed by conceding three goals, including two in three minutes by Militão and Corona (52nd and 55th). Without reaction, Schalke still got a very generous penalty in the 89th, transformed by Bentaleb. A reduction of the score which was useless since in the additional time, Marega completed the success of Porto (3-1).
Naples did the job
It was absolutely necessary to win for the Italians against the Red Star of Belgrade. Very strong, Naples made the difference in the 11th minute by his captain Hamsik. With a ball possession of over 65% all throughout the meeting, the second of Series AT doubling the setting Mertens just after the half hour of play (34e). the return from the locker room, Mertens (52e) scored twice and condemned the hopes of a possible return of the Serbs. For the honor, El Fardou Ben Nabouhane concluded a good individual action of Marin and reduced the mark. If Naples is still the leader of the group, the Red Star of Belgrade is eliminated from the race to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
