A recent survey shows that if the French are most often faced with problems of mosquitoes and rats, their main anxieties about pests are elsewhere. They are especially afraid of bed bugs and badroaches.

And yet, while 92% of French people admit to having already dealt with pests in their homes, only 18% of respondents have already been exposed to badroaches and 8% to bed bugs. In contrast, rodents account for more than half of the interventions (58%). But it is true that bed bugs, particularly resistant and leathery, are currently causing real psychosis at the beginning of infestation. Finally, 6% of the interventions concern the wasps and hornets.

According to this study, 2.7 million interventions against these enemies of the house were conducted in France last year. 86% of companies in the pest control sector report that this figure has increased significantly over the past three years.
Every summer, mosquitoes, hornets, wasps and ants invade the homes. The former cause concern to 81% of French and even 86% in the south-west of the country.
