Is Loki really dead at the beginning ofAvengers: Infinity War ? This is a question that has been plaguing fans of the God of Asgard since the release of the movie. Many theories seek to prove that Loki still played on the spectators and characters, and that he managed to escape death. Avengers: Infinity War starts with a very strong scene in Space aboard the Asgardian ship. The Russo brothers were the guests of a questions / answers organized by Collider and this was an opportunity for the directors to express themselves about the fate of Loki. Someone asked them if Hulk was actually Loki who was disguised, the answer was simple:
"Loki is dead."
This time, there is no doubt, Thor's brother is indeed dead. The Avengers will not be able to rely on him to face Thanos, but it is quite possible that he will reappear at the end when everything is put back in order. We must not forget that a Loki series for the Disney + platform is being prepared.
