SOLIDAIRES – Brigitte Bardot, in turn, shows her support for Yellow Vests on Wednesday, posting a photo of her wearing the famous garment. Before her, other personalities like Franck Dubosc and Patrick Sébastien took up the cause for the protest movement. Sincere or opportunistic gestures of solidarity?

Last week, Cyril Hanouna offered to be their spokesperson, a support that was far from unanimous. Since then, the Yellow Vests have received the support of several personalities. Last boost in date, and not least: the one of Brigitte Bardot, which displays without hesitation its solidarity this Wednesday.

"With you!", Simply wrote the actress "Contempt" in caption of a photo showing her, thumbs up, dressed in the famous outfit next to his white 4L, in a message posted on his Twitter account.

The day before, it was Franck Dubosc who spoke directly to the Yellow Vests, also via Facebook.

"Message to the yellow vests and to all of you who suffer, we must be with you, we favor them, we must find something," wrote the humorist, before suggesting that he will try to mobilize other personalities: "I talk to friends".

"Every being has its dignity and there is a real break that is more than social. It is elitist today," said Wednesday morning on CNews Patrick Sebastien, claiming "to party with these people "and calling to respect and consider the yellow vests, not to sweep them" offhand ".

Before them, another comedian, Arnaud Ducret, had also broadcast a message noticed. "I support you Yellow Vests, we are tired of wearing like pigs," he said in this video in which he announced that he could not go to a festival organized on the island of Reunion, precisely because the movement is raging there.

But he is not the only one to have thus publicly taken up the cause of the anger of the demonstrators. The rapper Kaaris has not hesitated to put on his social networks with a matching yellow vest … a small bag Vuitton and a flowery message ("Agent, I'm sinking the triangle … ).

For their part, the Toulouse of Bigflo & Oli were blocked on the road by demonstrators and, to pbad the roadblock and to go to their concert, published a selfie with one them. Support is true constrained in their case.

Are the personalities who are displayed so sincere or do they seek to favor a popular movement? Christophe Beaugrand asks the question in his video chronicle of the Morning of LCI that you find at the head of this article. For now, the list of people who have openly criticized the Yellow Vests is thin: the ex-adventurer of Koh Lanta Moundir has defeated the movement by denouncing the racist remarks made by some of its members. But he has since deleted his publication.

The actor and director Mathieu Kbadovitz also distanced himself from the protest movement by answering a tweet that was surprised by the absence of artists in his ranks: "It is perhaps that we are not agree with your demands ".
