However, the study showed that it is probably not caffeine that gives coffee its beneficial effects on health. Some people have genes that affect how they metabolize caffeine, which makes them more or less sensitive to its effects on the body.

But scientists have not noticed any difference in mortality between those who are sensitive to caffeine and those who are not sensitive to the same group of consumers. However, they do not answer the essential question: what coffee component produces this effect? ​​
