"I hear the grumbling, it's focused on the price of fuel, why?" Because, according to Emmanuel Macron, the increase in the fuel tax – in the program of many candidates and voted regularly, he recalled – was added to the rise in oil prices worldwide.
"This crisis says that the answers we bring are too abstract, people are protesting, we are answering them with 'energy checks'. 'Energy check' people do not know what it is … and honestly, me neither", said the President of the Republic.
