When the security forces found him, he was heading towards the metro. A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday night around 11 pm in the Carmes district, in downtown Toulouse. He was in possession of a table he had just stolen from a restaurant.
The cause of this unusual larceny? The young man had quarreled with the boss of the establishment where he had eaten with friends, about the bill. After settling the note reluctantly, he may have wanted to "pay off" in his own way.
Alerted by the restorer, the police officers of the light canine unit quickly found the unscrupulous client. Unknown to the justice, this one was heard at the central police station, before being left free.
