The badociation SOS autisme France called Thursday the parents of autistic children to the vigilance against the "miracle cures" that claim to cure these disorders.

She cited three examples: the "heavy metal chelation therapy", which claims to "detoxify" the body, cannabis derivatives, and MMS ("miracle mineral solution", based on sodium chlorite, a disinfecting agent.)
The badociation "denounces an unacceptable medical drift that endangers the health of autistic children and their rights."
All these treatments have no scientific basis, even dangerous. In 2010, the health authorities warned against the risk of intoxication by the MMS.

The badociation says it wants to talk with the Minister of Health Agnès Buzyn to ask him to "sanction officially and more severely this alternative medicine."
Autism is a set of disorders of the development of the nervous system that disrupt social life, learning, communication and sensory perceptions.
The origin is not known, and no specific drug exists, only a support that allows a better life with these disorders, from the youngest age.

The president of the badociation, Olivia Cattan, published Monday with another mother of autistic child, Estelle Ast, a forum in the Huffpost denouncing "these alternative treatments that put children in danger".
