Fifty reports of consumers and six injured later, the Swedish channel Ikea announced Tuesday the recall of more than 45,000 tables to extend around the world.
The defective tables, including the "white Glivarp sold after January 1, 2017" specifies the sign of furniture, have risks of falling of their extension.
Sold between 199 and 249 euros depending on the model, they have sold to 45,563 units worldwide since January 2017, said the group.
"IKEA is asking all customers who have a white GLIVARP extendable table to bring the product back for a full refund or replacement with a similar product – the receipt is not required."
