The dismantling of the camp around the Eisenhower roundabout earlier this week was rebuffed the cards of the movement of the Yellow Vests in Bayeux (Calvados). Since then, two groups have been formed. They say complementary but if they have the same claims, they do not have the same methods of action.

One of them chose to comply with the regulations. He said yesterday, Tuesday, November 27, 2017, the sub-prefecture of Bayeux. "The idea is to continue to filter dams to be seen, but more to stay day and night on a single roundabout. We will now change places every day, and even several times a day, from morning to night but more at night, "said Paul Morice, yellow vest from the first hour, became one of the three official representatives of this group. They began yesterday by positioning for the afternoon around the roundabout of Vaucelles. This Wednesday morning, we found them at the road of Sain-Lô and this afternoon, at the roundabout Jean-Jacques.

After the dismantling of the camp around the roundabout Eisenhower in Bayeux (Calvados), a group of yellow vests decided to continue the actions of dams filtering but differently: they intend to continue to be seen, but in different places in Bayeux. Three representatives of "Angry Yellow Vests" in Bayeux

So that's also the novelty: their group is structured. Paul Morice, active, is today spokesman for the group renamed "Angry Yellow Vests", in the same way that Gérard Gabriel, retired, and Martial Russo, recognized as a disabled worker and currently seeking a short-time job.

An appointment at the prefecture and with the deputy

All three will be received, at their request, Friday, November 30, 2018 by the LREM deputy of the 5th district of Calvados, Bertrand Bouyx. Objective: "they listen to us and make our grievances to the government."

Yesterday, Tuesday, November 27, 2018, two of them, Paul Morice and Gerard Gabriel, have already been received at the prefecture of Caen with two other representatives of the movement Caen. The yellow jackets were thus interviewed with Camille Goyer, the sub-prefect and cabinet director of the prefect of Calvados, Laurent Fiscus, and Vincent Ferrier, the sub-prefect of the district of Bayeux.

Yellow vests: "We want to be heard"

"The appointment lasted almost 2 hours. Our demands were expressed: more purchasing power, lower fuel taxes; and we have been told what is not right for us, such as the technical controls that have become too hard and the state of affairs too important. All that is what yellow jackets told us in the field, "says Paul Morice, who hopes to have been heard. Just like Gérard Gabriel obviously, but that does not prevent him from doubting: "They have certainly listened to us but I do not think that will change anything, they are in their view. I doubt very much.

Sub-prefect: "See locally how we can help them"

For his part, the sub-prefect of Bayeux found this meeting constructive: "Our desire was to be able to hear them to make up their remarks and see locally how the state can help them. There are obviously big general topics that do not depend on the local, but there are also many particular situations that can be accompanied.

This Wednesday afternoon, as many times since the beginning of the movement Saturday, November 17, 2018, the sub-prefect of the Bayeux district has come to meet Yellow Vests.
