The most common was the so-called "Hexavalent" vaccine (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, Poliomyelitis, Haemophilus Infections), with 9 012 children. The MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) was administered to 8,674 children. Finally, 7,448 children received the pneumococcal vaccine.


In 2012, 19% of the population of Mayotte was under six, according to INSEE. By applying this ratio to the current population, nearly 50,000 children are of this age today.
