Mick Schumacher signs in F2 for 2019

Son of the Sevenfold Formula 1 World Champion Michael, Mick Schumacher won the 2018 title of F3 Europe for its second campaign in the discipline, thanks to a thundering second half of the season, including an impressive run of five consecutive victories.

Schumacher will now join Formula 2 in the F1 race hall. He will be competing for the fourth consecutive season in the Italian Prema team, which he joined in Formula 4 in 2016.

"I'm really looking forward to racing next season with Prema in Formula 2 – a logical step in my career, because I want to get more technical experience and improve my driving skills," says Schumacher.
