Chinese telecom giant Huawei has announced it has opened a new research and development center in Grenoble, specializing in mobile phone sensors and software. The center, currently composed of about ten people, will have around thirty researchers by 2020.
The laboratory, which will be the only one of the group in charge of these areas of expertise, was installed in Grenoble because of its proximity to the electronics and information technology laboratory of the Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). ) as well as with companies such as STMicroelectronics, already suppliers of the group.
