CLASH – The French director, figure of May-68, has tried to criticize the eight communicators of the Yellow Vests on the set of the Big Explanation this Wednesday. This former Trotskyite militant and figure of May-68 was invited to speak against Vests yellow, among which Eric Drouet, initiator of the day of November 17. A little less contentious than fifty years ago, the filmmaker who called to vote Emmanuel Macron in the presidential election, harshly judged the movement for its lack of structuring. More directly, he attacked the driver and his role as "communicant", he denounced the illegitimacy for lack of "consultation".
Continuing to take on Eric Drouet, he criticized him for having as "goal to get on the Elysee". "He says it before the movement began," he continues, unstoppable, leaving no one the possibility to interrupt. And to ask the person concerned: "But where is the consultation?" And to continue, offensive and adding the familiarity "Where are you going from, where are you from, who is who elected you?"
The filmmaker also came back, raising his voice, racist, Islamophobic and homophobic acts that occurred on certain points of blocking Yellow Vests. To which Eric Drouet replied that the violence was in no way symbolic of the movement. To finish with a comparison by the absurd: "If there is 5% of thieves, we will say that the whole population is a thief?"
