Three quarters of private sector employees and 41% of French business leaders doubt that their company is ready for the entry into force of the withholding tax on income on January 1, according to an Ipsos poll published Tuesday.

In total, 59% of bosses and especially only 25% of employees surveyed say they are "certain" that their company will be ready in time, shows the 13th edition of the Observatory of the company, carried out by Ipsos for the Campus d higher education and vocational training (Cesi), an organization uniting 25 campuses in mainland France.

While the establishment of withholding tax is considered easy by the majority of managers surveyed (68%), a quarter of them (26%) report having difficulties.
