Gino Marchetti, legend of the Baltimore Colts and a member of the Professional Football Hall of Fame, died Monday at the age of 93.

"Gino Marchetti is a giant giant who has helped many people in need. He is one of the best athletes in the history of football and athletics in Baltimore, "the Ravens said in a statement on the death of Marchetti. "Well loved in Baltimore, this Professional Football Hall of Fame member loved our community and the fans they loved. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Joan, and the Marchetti family. Marchetti was a first All-Pro team nine times in his career, and he was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 1972. He was a member of the Anniversary Team of the Silver League (1969) and the 75th Anniversary Team (1994).
