Intel is back in the "ninth generation" of its core processors on the most recently used in the updated chips of the eighth generation "Coffee Lake" architecture. Specifically, the Intel document talks about five Core i5 chips, which come with six cores. In addition, two models of the Core i3 series are called, which come with four cores. Apparently, the document also suggests that Intel wants to send Core i7 variants with eight hearts in the race.
As a code name, the term "Coffee Lake S" should be mentioned for all chips. Specifically, the paper calls the following chips:
The Intel document also lists a variety of current processors of the 8000 series in the same breath. This clearly shows that it is becoming more and more difficult for consumers to see through the marketing forest of the American chip company, since several other chips are marketed as the 8th generation of Intel Core processors.
The new document suggests that new fries will still be a refreshed version of the "Coffee Lake" family. Many had hoped that Americans would soon start producing chips in the "10nm +" scale, but apparently nothing will come of it. According to other reports, Intel will not be able to produce on the scale of 10 nanometers until 2019.
