Although the filing of the name "Warp Charge" does not confirm the use of technology in a future OnePlus smartphone, it would be obvious – otherwise you would not need a new name.
The term "Warp" should be familiar to fans of the Star Trek series be known. So, it would be perfectly appropriate if you could fully charge the OnePlus 6T to come with "Warp speed" in a few minutes. The technology is already present by the parent company and therefore the Chinese company would have a real selling point.

It's unclear if OnePlus can really use technology in a "cheap" smartphone like the OnePlus 6T.
