Mode with waiting time
Whisper mode works the same way as Alexa Guard. This was presented, among others, in September 2018 during an Amazon event. In particular, Alexa can detect broken glbad and carbon monoxide – and trigger the alarm.
If you do not want to disturb a sleeper, but want to talk to Alexa, you must first activate the silent mode. You can find this feature in the parameters of the Alexa application under "Alexa Account". On the next page, the mode is activated. At this point you will also find the short mode. If this option is enabled, your digital roommate's answers will be much stricter.
However, this feature is initially available exclusively in the United States. When Amazon unlocks the function for other languages, is not yet known.
