A charging cable for different standards

Berlin (dpa / tmn) – We would like to save the delicate plug charging of its mobile device, the next wants to bring the scrambled connections of its smartphones and tablets to a standard. This seems impossible, but it is feasible, with what are called magnetic charging cables.

A tiny magnetic adapter is permanently inserted into the charging socket of the corresponding mobile device, to which the magnetic charge cable can then be connected. Many providers provide cable with three adapters (USB-C, Micro-USB and Lightning), which covers most home appliances. If not, you need to buy adapters or cables according to your needs.

Two other advantages of the magnetic connection: The plug can not be torn off the plug as a trip on the cable. And the plug is protected from dust and dirt. However, the system has one disadvantage: the adapter sockets are tiny, but still stand slightly above the edge of the socket.
