Asus ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z now available in Germany

Asus smartphones introduced a few weeks ago are now on the market: the Asus ZenFone 5 is to convince the middle clbad, the stronger model ZenFone 5Z in the same case wants to shake the clbad superior with a Snapdragon 845. Zenfone beginner without Z at the end costs 399 euros to throw. But you get a smart smartphone when you buy: The entire front is covered by a large LCD screen. The diagonal is 6.2 inches. However, the resolution is somewhat low at 1080 x 2.116 pixels.

The ZenFone 5 processor gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 as a processor: The chip offers a total of eight cores clocked at a maximum of 1.8 gigahertz. Four gigabytes of RAM complete the set, 64 gigabytes of memory to store images and music.

The double camera at the back dissolves with 12 and 8 megapixels. The lower resolution sensor is behind a wide-angle lens, which should allow for better panoramas. For selfies, an 8 megapixel camera is available on the front

The stronger brother does not fit in the middle clbad, but prefers to land on the throne of the smartphone: Asus has built the Zenfone 5Z currently the fastest processor available. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is also used by Samsung, Sony and LG.

The ZenFone 5Z adds eight gigabytes of RAM. This should be even more games playable in parallel. Of the 256 gigabytes of fixed storage photos and 4K videos fit endlessly.

The camera is no different from the normal ZenFone 5: On the back are also 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors, the front camera remains unchanged with 8 megapixels. Due to the built-in processor's AI capabilities, the photos should be a bit better than the cheaper model.

Both devices offer a battery of 3300 mAh. This should be the phones easily throughout the day. Smartphones are available in midnight blue and silver. As the software comes on the internal ZenUI 5.0 on both ZenFones, the base is Android 8.0. The internal memory can even be extended: The ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z can receive two additional terabytes (!) Via a micro-SD card

ZenFones can now be ordered from the Asus store. Amazon and other German stores do not offer the devices yet.
