The first win of new coach Wolf concludes a hectic week at HSV. The coach Titz is gone, the successor Wolf should now take the course. The fans are skeptical, the players still divided.
Hamburg (AP) – Under the leadership of the Bundesliga, the released Hamburger SV outweighs the relief and satisfaction in XXL proportions.
After the controversial change of Christian Titz's coach at Hannes Wolf last Tuesday, brought the score 1: 0 to 1. He also ordered the outside striker to rush faster behind the opposing defensive line. It did not always work, but was more effective than before. As much as his team of ten men after the dismissal of David Bates had to pbad a character test shortly after the break.
The exploits will mitigate the gap that persists after Titz's dissolution by the team. Anyone who has always played and enjoyed the Titz-trust will probably be angry for a while. But there are also other examples. Pierre-Michel Lasogga is one of them.
The 26-year-old striker was completely relieved. Titz had not used it once in ten games and only played five times in the second half. In Wolf, the powerful center-forward returned to the starting formation. "I'm glad the coach is counting on me," revealed Lasogga, who had prepared the winning goal with an incredibly sensitive dive in Khaled Narey's run. "Sometimes a simple application is enough to know whether there is trust or not," he said, pointing out that he "was on the right track".
