Up to now, he has won three league titles – two in Belgium with Liege (2008, 2009), one in Russia with St. Petersburg (2015). Witsel 's salary is likely to drop significantly: In China, he apparently wins about 18 million euros a year

Borussia Dortmund would have the full midfield center with a Witsels commitment. In addition to Witsel, Thomas Delanay (new Werder Bremen), Julian Weigl and Mahmoud Dahoud are also aiming for a regular spot. Nuri Sahin and Sebastian Rode can go with an appropriate offer. (fs)
