Schalke solves the contract Weinzierl

Markus Weinzierl and Schalke 04 are in agreement after lengthy negotiations on a severance pay. From a financial point of view, the agreement is an advantage for minors.
Former coach Markus Weinzierl accepted after more than a year with his former employer FC Schalke 04 on the resolution of his employment contract, reports Bild .
The severance pay amounts to 1.5 million euros. This saves the club but still money. The annual salary of Weinzierl would have been three million euros.
The dissolution of the contract is also in his interest: he probably had offers from Werder Bremen, VfB Stuttgart and the Austrian national team before. Due to the current Schalke contract, Weinzierl's commitment was not possible.
Conflict between Weinzierl and Schalke
The tense relationship between Schalke and the former desire coach has failed a quick resolution. The club was unhappy with the tenth place of the Bundesliga table. Weinzierl's quick dismissal after just one season at the Royal Blues also provoked a fight.
Expensive newcomers like Tottenham Hotspur's Nabil Bentaleb and Sevilla's Yevhen Konoplyanka were late. They did not strike, Konoplyanko criticized Weinzierl with hindsight and called him a "coward".
The club, however, was only partially before.
