Fortnite: Update 5.0 and Season 5 Today

The Fortnite (buy now for € 59.99) Update 5.0 unlocks Season 5 in Battle Royale. To prepare for the new season, Epic Games is planning a time-out – the servers are disconnected for a certain period of time. Let's start at 10 o'clock. Half an hour before, the pairing system is already disabled. During the shutdown time, the developers prepare the servers for the new content. When the job is done, the servers reconnect. A specific time did not tell Epic Games. Generally, the Fortnite interview takes about an hour. It may take a little longer for a larger update.

By noon, the Fortnite 5.0 update will be available for download – and will let the survival shooter play again. Then the changelog should be available for update 5.0 for Fortnite. At this point, the changes introduced with the new hotfix are corrected. In a recent reddit thread, developers announce that recorded replay will no longer work with the 5.0 update. Therefore, back up the equipment before the shutdown times.
