iPhone and iPad users can now use the app to check WLAN signal quality – even with other routers that A Fritz! Box.
AVM now offers Fritz! WLAN App for iOS for download. The application available only for Android has been released after several months of beta for iPhone and iPad. It makes it possible to determine the quality of the WLAN connection at different points in the home network – it also works with other manufacturers' wireless routers.
Additional WLAN information for Fritz users! Box
When using a Fritz! Box, the application displays additional information such as the network status, roaming activities of connected devices or a graphical representation of the network and all access points. In addition, existing updates for network devices can be displayed, as AVM explains.
The Fritz WLAN App runs on iOS devices with at least iOS 10.3, on the Fritzbox must be installed at least Fritz OS 6.50, as the manufacturer has announced. Compared to the Android version, there are some less features, the application also works only in their own home network.
