Similar to the Apple competitor, Samsung sells its high-end smartphone Galaxy S since the Galaxy S6 in a normal state and a run edge. While the differences in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are only in the form of the display, they are larger in the S7 and S7 Edge.
The main differences
The Galaxy S7's screen (SM-G930F) measures 5.1 inches diagonally, while the Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) offers a 5.5-inch display. The Galaxy S7 Edge's screen is not only bigger, it is also shaped differently than the Galaxy S7.
The "Edge" supplement refers to a type of screen whose beveled edges extend to the frame of the smartphone. The additional image area, called Samsung Edge-Screen, is used by the South Korean manufacturer for additional software features. The extravagant display, however, is reflected in the price. A little less than two years after the launch on the market, the S7 Edge is a little less than 120 € more expensive than the Galaxy S7.
Strengths and weaknesses at a glance
Here are the main differences between the Galaxy S7 Edge and the clbadic S7. In our test, both smartphones scored above average. The Galaxy S7 received nine points out of ten possible in April 2016, the S7 Edge even 9.2 points. The slightly better rating is mainly due to a longer battery life compared to the S7. Samsung has installed a larger capacity battery in the Galaxy S7 Edge because the larger screen requires more power. This gives the smartphone in comparison but still some additional reserves.

Top smartphone with little disappointments
With the Galaxy S7, Samsung has managed to create a glorious smartphone . The handling, the battery life and the camera have been enormously improved. As can be ignored on the screen still useful little-on.
