inXile is part of the Microsoft Studios family

Based in Santa Ana, California, the studio has attracted attention in recent years with such works as Fallout: New Vegas, Alpha Protocol or South Park: The Staff of Truth. The clbadic role-playing game "Pillars of Eternity" is one of the best-known internal brands, which will be released exclusively on Microsoft platforms.

The second studio acquired in recent years was mainly devoted to clbadic RPGs. We are talking about inXile Entertainment, the studio of veteran Brian Fargo. The studio's recent projects include Torment: Tides of Numenera, Wasteland 2 and the PC version of The Bard's Tale IV. InXile Entertainment is currently working on "Wasteland 3" and on console implementations of "The Bard's Tale IV".

"Obsidian Entertainment will operate independently, just like inXile Entertainment.The studio is one of 13 developer teams, united under the banner of the Microsoft Studios family," says Microsoft.
