Microsoft's Surface Phone is expected to hit the market in 2019

The Surface Phone is supposed to be basically revised and should be launched in 2019. As a result, the foldable smartphone with the code name "Andromeda" but not defined, but will appear later in a new form.

Apparently, Microsoft continues to work on the surface phone. That's what Thurrott.com, specializing in Microsoft, writes. Recently, there have been rumors about the hiring of the device, but it seems that too much has been interpreted in the fact that the next major update of Windows has not the necessary support for Project Andromeda. That's true, but it's just because Microsoft apparently does not want to release the Surface Phone before 2019.

Software and hardware are revised

Thurrott.com has learned from several sources that Microsoft has released the software and hardware software from the device before the version basically want to revise. By the end of 2017, Microsoft planned to launch the surface phone earlier this year. Apparently, the device does not work satisfactorily with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile chip, which basically supports Windows. This is hardly surprising because many Windows laptops with chips have not been put on the market because there were apparently performance issues.

Qualcomm is working on a new mobile chips designed specifically for Windows PCs. The first of these chips, the Snapdragon 850, is expected to be released in early 2019. However, Thurrott.com sees the surface phone coming out later in the year.
